Kim Kardashian Expresses Pride in Daughter North After Music Video Appearance

Kim Kardashian proudly shares her daughter's achievements as North West takes the spotlight.

Kim Kardashian, 44, recently highlighted her daughter North West, 11, in a glimpse shared on Instagram. North stars in FKA twigs' music video for "Childlike Things." The SKIMS co-founder, who has four children with ex-husband Kanye West, expressed her pride in the caption.

"Proud of my baby," she stated.

FKA twigs explained how North become part of the project on Instagram. She said her label desired someone with genuine "childlike energy" for the track from her album 'Eusexua'. "It needs someone who has that strong point of view that you have when you're 11," she elaborated.

In this song, North raps in Japanese, drawing inspiration from 'Where the Wild Things Are'. North's rising fame appears to be catching up to Kim Kardashian’s own.

In a recent episode of 'The Kardashians', Kim examined her daughter’s performance metrics. To her surprise, North generated 22 billion impressions and over $1 billion in advertising. Kim noted, "[North] has 18% more popularity than all of her family members."

"Um, okay, we’re gonna have to work on this," she joked. "North, you’re not gonna take me down."

In addition to North, Kardashian and West share three more children: Psalm, 5, Chicago, 7, and Saint, 9. Although Kim and Kanye have separated, they remain committed to co-parenting.

Kim advised, "Make sure you are your co-parent's biggest cheerleader, no matter what you are personally facing," during a Vogue interview in February 2022.

Above all, Kardashian cherishes motherhood. She recently expressed the bittersweet feelings of raising children in an Instagram post.

"The sad part about motherhood is that you’re raising the one person you can’t live without… to live without you," she wrote, showcasing her feelings against a crumbled white paper background, accompanied by a teary-eyed emoji.
