Lenny Hochstein Proposes to Katharina Mazepa a Second Time
The Real Housewives of Miami star Lenny Hochstein has rekindled his romance with Katharina Mazepa. They are now engaged once more, US Weekly reported.
"Sometimes life gives you a second chance and you realize what truly matters," Hochstein, 58, stated on Instagram on Wednesday, December 11. He accompanied these words with a photo of his grand proposal.
After their previous challenges, Hochstein reaffirmed his commitment. "I knew I would never let her go again. Here’s to a love worth fighting for, stronger than ever, and a future we’ll build together," he expressed, showing his strong feelings.
The pictures shared depicted Hochstein on a bent knee and the couple looking into each other's eyes, radiating happiness. "Love finds its way back where it belongs," Mazepa declared in a comment.
Mazepa shared video clips of the special moment as well, referring to Hochstein as "stolen."
Their renewed engagement comes just three months after they ended their first engagement in September.
Hochstein confirmed their split to Us Weekly at that time. "I have decided to move forward with my life," he shared. He expressed goodwill towards Mazepa: "I have nothing but love and admiration for Katharina."
In September, after announcing their break, they felt the need to clarify the reasons behind their separation. A joint statement was released to put suspicions to rest.
"Lenny and I want to provide more clarity regarding recent baseless rumors," they explained. They confirmed their amicable decision to separate and emphasized there was no infidelity involved.
Previously, Hochstein had been married to Lisa Hochstein, 42, with whom he has two kids. Their marriage was recently finalized, leading to some tumult.
During a recent Art Basel event in Miami, they were seen in a tense interaction over custody issues. An eyewitness captured Hochstein visibly upset, passionately demanding access to his children.
With both Hochstein and Mazepa now rebuilt, they hope to write a new chapter together without past baggage weighing them down.
