Lindsay Arnold Plans Breast Augmentation Days After Her 31st Birthday
Dancing With the Stars alum Lindsay Arnold is preparing for a significant change as she celebrates both the holiday season and her upcoming birthday, US Weekly reported. In a TikTok update posted on December 26, Arnold announced, "My Christmas present this year is that I’m getting a breast augmentation." The 30-year-old expressed both excitement and nerves, stating, "Guys, I’m freaking out … but I’m also so excited. That is happening in, like, a little over two weeks."
Arnold provided a detailed timeline for her surgery. "I am turning 31 on January 11, and Sam [Cusick] and I are going to Mexico for a little getaway," she mentioned, referring to her husband. "We’re doing three nights and then we get home. The next day, I am getting my breast augmentation. I am also getting a lift. … It’s just so many decisions, and it’s hard that you make the choices for yourself and you have to live with those choices."
While Arnold admits the swift timeline has felt "a bit of a whirlwind," she emphasized that she "always knew" a breast augmentation was in her future. "It’s something I’m very excited about," she shared. "I know there’s mixed opinions on this type of thing, and so I get it. … If it’s not for you, it’s not for you."
Many followers expressed curiosity, including one who asked how Arnold would explain the surgery to her 3-year-old daughter, Sage. Arnold humorously replied, "Hahaha not sure how I will either quite yet," reflecting her candid approach to motherhood.
Lindsay has openly discussed her personal journey with cosmetic enhancements. In January 2023, she shared, "I’ve been getting Botox for years now. I get it in between my brows, I get it on my forehead. I obviously am not doing it right now because I’m pregnant." She has also undergone lip injections, acknowledging the impact of her pregnancy on her appearance. "People are always like, ‘Well, why are you trying to hide it?’"
Becoming a mother prompted Arnold to rethink her beauty regimen. "Since becoming a mom, it has changed so much for me," she told Us Weekly in May. "I feel like beauty comes from within. … I am very much, ‘Less is more’ when it comes to skincare and makeup." She noted that she wishes she had prioritized this outlook earlier in her life, but she now adheres to a consistent daily routine.
Arnold is committed to teaching her daughters, Sage and June, about inner beauty. "I want them to know that beauty comes from within and comes from how you feel about yourself," she explained. "I hope to just instill confidence in them and help them know that they are perfect just the way that they are and that they are beautiful in their own skin." Arnold believes that feeling good and maintaining health is essential to confidence, stating, "Staying healthy and doing things that feel good to my body every single day is so important."
