Lynn Ban, Star of 'Bling Empire: New York,' Dies at 51 After Brain Surgery
Lynn Ban, known for her role in "Bling Empire: New York," has passed away at the age of 51 shortly after brain surgery, US Weekly reported.
On January 22, Lynn’s son Sebastian shared the news in an Instagram post. He stated, "My mum passed away on Monday." He added that she wished to share her health journey after her accident, thus the decision to inform her supportive followers.
Sebastian expressed his desire to honor his mother, writing, "Many of you followed my mum but never got the chance to know her." He continued by highlighting her admirable qualities, saying, "She was the best mother...someone who cared for all." He recalled her enduring spirit: "She always had a smile on her face even when times were tough during her recovery process. She was a fighter until the end."
Sebastian emphasized the valuable role she played in their family: "She took care of me, my dad, and our entire family throughout her whole life." He made a promise to ensure that his mother "is never forgotten." Sebastian concluded his message with, "I will miss you forever," ending with her beloved phrase, "I love you more than life itself."
Earlier reports indicated that Lynn underwent emergency brain surgery following a Christmas Eve ski accident. After falling, she had initially sought a concussion check.
Lynn recounted the incident on December 2024 in a social media post, stating, "At the top of the mountain, I caught a tip and face-planted. Luckily, I always wear a helmet." Persisting headaches prompted her to visit the hospital for a scan.
Hospital images showed Lynn in a gown, with half of her head shaved and stitches adorning her scalp. Her shocking update revealed that she had suffered a brain bleed, which necessitated a craniotomy.
Alongside reflections about her health journey, she shared gratitude for her partner, Jett Kain, who was by her side. Lynn expressed her appreciation for those who supported her during her recovery. "Grateful and blessed to see the new year," she noted, although acknowledging the long path ahead.
