Mariah Carey Names the Best Holiday Gift She Has Ever Received
During a festive segment on Vogue's YouTube series Now Serving on November 29, Mariah Carey revealed her favorite holiday traditions while baking cookies. Among other topics, she divulged that the best holiday gift she ever received was likely some diamonds, confessing with a smile that she "didn't want to say that out loud" but felt compelled to mention it. The legendary "Queen of Christmas" also discussed her views on the ideal time to begin listening to her holiday classic, "All I Want for Christmas Is You." While previously she waited until Thanksgiving, she now prefers starting from November 1, although she eventually adopts the custom around the release of her annual "It's Time" video, saying it depends as some people might start earlier.
Carey has crafted an entire festive brand since her debut holiday album, and in celebration of her iconic song's 30th anniversary, this year she is creating themed bars in tandem with Virgin Hotels. She also unveiled an Amazon storefront packed with holiday decorations, gifts, and tour merchandise.
Currently, Mariah Carey is spreading holiday cheer nationwide on her Christmas Time tour.
