Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors Are Engaged
Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors, who fueled romance rumors in 2023 amid legal issues, are now engaged. The couple announced their engagement on November 17 during the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles, where Good proudly displayed her diamond ring.
As they spoke to E! News' Francesca Amiker, the couple explained why they chose this special occasion to share their news. "EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms," Good recounted about their first encounter, "in the unisex bathroom."
Good, 43, and Majors, 35, began dating in May 2023, shortly after his arrest following an alleged domestic incident with ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. Majors has always maintained his innocence. In December, he was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment. His sentence included 52 weeks of in-person counseling and a $250 fine, according to NBC News.
Throughout these challenges, Good continuously supported Majors during various court appearances in New York City. In a March interview, Good described him as "the one." "I love his style," she commented. "I just love how he puts it together."
In July, Good provided more context about her relationship with Majors and her response to criticism. "I take everyone’s opinion and advice into account, for sure. But I have to live my life," she stated on Today. "I want to be responsible for the choices that I make."
Good later highlighted the strength of their relationship: "The support we’ve given each other, the honest conversations, the love and respect, just the care — it's been really wonderful."
