Meghan Markle's Personal Instagram Reaches Major Milestone Soon After Launch
Meghan Markle is expanding her fanbase through Instagram. After debuting her page at the start of 2025, the Duchess has reached a significant milestone, PEOPLE reported.
As of February 20, Meghan has gained two million followers on her personal account, @meghan. The Duchess introduced the page with a video of herself writing "2025" in beach sand, filmed by Prince Harry. Since its launch, Meghan has shared both personal and professional updates on this platform.
The follower count rose notably following her recent announcement regarding her brand name change. On February 18, she shared a sunny garden video that included a brief appearance by Prince Harry. In this clip, she revealed that her lifestyle brand underwent a name transformation from American Riviera Orchard to As Ever.
Meghan first soft-launched American Riviera Orchard in March 2024. At that time, she established a corresponding Instagram page and website. To celebrate, she even gifted jam with the brand's logo to several friends.
In her February video, Meghan expressed excitement over her upcoming Netflix series, "With Love, Meghan," premiering on March 4. "The cat’s out of the bag! I’m shocked we’ve kept this a secret for so long," she said. Alongside her show, she remarked on the curiosity surrounding her business ventures.
Reflecting on her former brand name, she shared how "American Riviera" seemed fitting but restrictive. Describing it as a nickname for Santa Barbara, Meghan recognized that it limited her offerings. She also mentioned that Netflix became a major partner not just for the show but for her business as well. "I’ve been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022," she continued, revealing "this moment" as the right time to unveil As Ever.
The meaning behind As Ever, according to Meghan, is "as it’s always been." She drew comparisons to her previous lifestyle blog, "The Tig," which she ran from 2014 to 2017.
"I’ve always loved cooking and crafting. Now I can share my passions again," she stated. As things started to emerge, she emphasized that she wanted her followers to hear it from her directly.
Meghan expressed her enthusiasm for various offerings, teasing fruit preserves, and more. "We’re clear that jam is my jam," she humorously pointed out. She expressed eagerness to share various beloved products she uses at home with her audience.
Alongside her reveal video, As Ever’s website went live. This site featured Meghan running in a field alongside her daughter, Princess Lilibet, who is now 3 years old. The website displayed the phrase "Save your seat at the table," encouraging visitors to sign up for updates.
On the same day, she launched a new Instagram account, @aseverofficial, to accompany her personal account. "You’re warmly invited: As ever, coming Spring 2025," announced the caption of As Ever's first Instagram post. It showcased Meghan drizzling honey on a croissant, with her signature jam on display.
The @aseverofficial bio highlights it as "by @meghan" and states it was "Established in 2025." Notably, both Meghan's personal account and the As Ever profile follow only one account: each other.
