Miles Teller Reveals Wife Keleigh Teller Rejected Him 3 Times

Miles Teller married Keleigh Teller in 2019, but their love story had a rocky start. At the Los Angeles premiere of The Gorge on February 12, Miles shared details of his persistent pursuit of Keleigh.

The Divergent star admitted, "When I first met her, she turned me down like three times in one night." He jokingly applauded his persistence, saying, "I'll give myself a pat on the back for that."

Ultimately, the couple fell in love at a 2013 Grammys after-party. Their connection could have faltered due to timing. Miles revealed, "I got lucky the valet line was very long," adding that he didn’t know how to reach out to Keleigh as she was leaving that night. "Now look at us, 12 years later," he remarked.

While Keleigh needed some time to warm up to the Top Gun: Maverick actor, he felt an immediate connection. "I told my buddy," he noted during a joint interview with Keleigh on People, "'I think I'm going to be with this girl for a long time.'"

The Proposal

After four years of dating, Miles planned a romantic proposal during an African safari. He presented Keleigh with a rose that displayed key dates from their relationship. The letter read, "Today was the last day you woke up as my girlfriend."

Keleigh vividly recalls the moment, saying, "I'll never get the image out of my head of him down on one knee with a tear in his eye." She remembered his nerves and attention to detail.

Celebrating Love

Since saying "yes" and marrying each other, Miles finds joy in celebrating Keleigh. On her birthday in October, he shared a heartfelt message on X (formerly Twitter): "Happy birthday to my dancing queen, my love, my eternal source of happiness and all things good in this world."

His commitment shows his desire to celebrate her every day they share together.
