Nothing Ear (Open) Leaked Shortly Before Official Announcement
Ahead of the anticipated launch, the design and specifications of the Nothing Ear (Open) headphones have leaked. These new open-style earbuds from Nothing feature a unique wraparound band that comfortably fits around the back of the ear. A 14.2mm driver speaker sits outside the ear to deliver audio, similar in design to some SoundCore and JBL models, and maintains Nothing's transparent design on the stem along with company branding. This is prepared by SSP.
The earbuds are expected to provide eight hours of battery life without the charging case, extending up to 30 hours with it. Each earbud reportedly weighs 8.1 grams. WinFuture indicates these earbuds will come with touch controls, multi-device connectivity, and enhanced audio clarity during calls. Furthermore, they support ChatGPT integration when paired with a Nothing Phone and include a "Bass Enhance" feature. The earbuds and their case have an IP54 rating for splash and dust resistance.
Additional features and pricing details, including availability of colors other than white, remain unconfirmed. The new arrival has landed on 24 Sep 2024, 13:30 BST, according to the official website.
