Olivia Culpo Shared Struggles During the First Trimester of Her Pregnancy
Olivia Culpo revealed she was unable to exercise for the first four months of her pregnancy. This included not even the simplest form of exercise: walking. The former Miss Universe is expecting her first child with her husband, Christian McCaffrey.
Reflecting on her first trimester, Olivia described being mostly inactive during those initial months. On March 12, she shared on her Instagram Story, "I couldn't workout the first 4 months of my pregnancy (not even walking)."
As her pregnancy progressed, the 32-year-old began to resume her exercise routines. She recently posted a gym selfie with fitness trainer Marissa West. In her caption, Olivia, proudly displaying her baby bump, declared, "So we're making it really count now."
For Olivia, the journey to pregnancy has not been straightforward, as she was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2020. This diagnosis raised concerns about her fertility when she and Christian began their family planning.
In a 2022 episode of The Culpo Sisters, she expressed her worries when she stated, "It could be really hard for me to have babies." She also noted that there was a "looming timeline" due to her health condition, adding, "I feel like I have to have kids ASAP."
While Olivia became pregnant last year, she kept the news private until March 10. Her sister, Sophia Culpo, humorously mentioned how Olivia attempted to hide her baby bump before the announcement. "Now you all know why her nickname is Oblivia," she joked on Instagram Stories alongside a Christmas photo that showed Olivia with her dog Oliver in front of her stomach.
Now, Olivia is thrilled to reveal her baby bump. After announcing her pregnancy, she posted a photo showcasing her belly over her jeans and seatbelt while seated in a car. In the caption, she shared her excitement, stating, "Excited to officially bump around because this thing is really getting big."
