Patrick Schwarzenegger Says He Perceives Fame in Different Light Despite Being Born to a Successful Family

Patrick Schwarzenegger, an actor known for Bollywood projects like "The White Lotus," has been candid about how his view of success differentiates from that of his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger. In a recent appearance on Dear Media’s Real Pod podcast, he reflected on the impact of growing up amid the fame of his parents, Arnold and Maria Shriver. Patrick mentioned that while Arnold's definition of success was highly career-oriented, focusing on becoming a major movie star, bodybuilder, and politician, his own values relate more to personal connections such as family, faith, relationships, friends, and his fiancée, Abby Champion. Despite harboring aspirations to achieve significant milestones in his acting career and business endeavors, Patrick emphasized these professional goals are on equal footing with his personal values.

He credited his mother, Maria Shriver, for influencing his interpretation of success. He aimed to create a path uniquely his, without becoming preoccupied with surpassing his father's achievements, noting, "I'll never out-succeed my dad in his terms. But in my terms, I will."
