Michael Greco, known for his role on EastEnders, also expressed condolences on X. He stated, "So, so sad to read about the passing of Paul Danan. In this day and age of falsities, he was a genuine man who wanted to please everyone. A lovely warm man who will be missed by many. R.I.P. Buddy."
Paul Danan gained fame playing Sol Patrick on "Hollyoaks" from 1997 to 2001. He also appeared in children’s shows such as "The Queen’s Nose" and "The Basil Brush Show," and was part of "Casualty."

Less than a year before his passing, in June 2024, Danan experienced severe health issues. He was hospitalized for respiratory failure, primarily due to his vaping addiction. He reflected on the incident, sharing, "I’m upstairs puffing away on my vape when I suddenly lost my breath and collapsed. The family called for an ambulance."

His last social media update featured an audition tape for a role in "Twelfth Night." He wrote about his excitement, stating, "It’s been a long time since I’ve gone near a bit of the Master that is our pioneer Sir William Shakespeare.
