Selena Gomez Reveals the Truth Behind Benny Blanco's Eyebrow Change

Selena Gomez recently shared the true reason for fiancé Benny Blanco's eyebrow transformation. The revelation came after Benny posted a TikTok featuring his makeup artist making adjustments to his look.

Selena expressed her approval of Benny's eyebrows, stating they are perfect. During the video, they showcased how her makeup artist, Hung Vanngo, plucked away Benny's unibrow. Selena was supportive but requested that the changes remain subtle.

"I wanted it to still look like him," Selena said. She added, "This was not my idea," highlighting that she did not handle the tweezing herself. She praised Hung, saying, "He's the best." The 32-year-old emphasized that it was a light touch, noting, "It’s subtle, is what I’m trying to say."

Benny jokingly mentioned that Hung had been urging him to shape his eyebrows for some time. "He begged me," Benny stated, sharing that Hung had persistently recommended the change. He also playfully complimented Drew Barrymore's eyebrows, teasingly offering her some of his own eyebrow hair.

In the video, Selena guided Hung during the shaping process, requesting him to be gentle. "Do it light," she instructed him, "because I love him." Benny then commented that he couldn't even tell the difference after seeing his new brows.

Despite Selena's minimal desire for change, Benny's appearance became a punchline during the 2025 Golden Globes. Nikki Glaser, the host, joked about Benny during her opening monologue, referencing Selena's nominations and their relationship.

Though the humor circulated, Benny takes it lightheartedly. On March 19, he expressed his thoughts in a TikTok video, declaring, "Funny guys get hot girls."
