Snoop Dogg's Daughter Cori Welcomes First Child Prematurely

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg's youngest child, announced the arrival of her first baby on February 28. She shared the news through an Instagram post, revealing she gave birth three months early. "The princess arrived at 6 months," she wrote alongside a black-and-white image of her newborn daughter’s foot.

Cori, 25, faced serious health concerns during her pregnancy. Doctors diagnosed her with HELLP syndrome, a life-threatening condition typically arising late in pregnancy. This syndrome involves hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelets. It can escalate to severe complications if left untreated. She explained the urgency of her situation: "Doctors thanked me for coming in. If I had waited a few more days, it would have been really bad."

In her post, Cori expressed her emotional struggle, mentioning her doubts and fears about her ability to care for her child. She was grateful for her progress despite the challenges she faced. Her initial post revealed she underwent a successful cesarean section as doctors might have been saving her life and that of her baby.

Cori shared additional details through Instagram Stories, including the moment she realized something was wrong following a medical visit. What she believed was "a bad case of gas" turned out to be a serious condition needing urgent attention.

Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Deuce, celebrated alongside her, and both exhibited joy about their new family member. Messages of love and support came from her mother, Shante Broadus, highlighting their family's closeness. Shante referred to Cori with affection in her comments, further amplifying the spirit of gratitude and love surrounding the event.

As the eighth grandchild in Snoop Dogg's family, this baby brings a new addition to the lineage. The rapper enjoys a special bond with his grandchildren and has stated that being their grandfather is his greatest achievement. His family continues to grow with each new child coming into the world.

"Our passage through these trials has laid a strong foundation for love and family," she stated in her reflections on motherhood.
