Sony Reveals New 'Chroma' Color Collection for PlayStation
Sony is set to add some shine to your gaming setup with its new "Chroma" console covers for the PlayStation 5 Slim. These new covers, available in pearl, indigo, and teal, will make your console stand out. Sony is also releasing matching DualSense controllers. The pearl and indigo accessories will be available on November 7, 2024, while the teal ones will follow on January 23, 2025. This is prepared by SSP.
Matching DualSense controllers will cost $79.99, with the Chroma console covers priced at $64.99. Pearl is a mix of pink and cream, Indigo blends blue and purple, and Teal showcases various green shades, providing some vibrant options to PlayStation's existing range.
Pre-orders for these accessories begin on October 3, 2024, at PlayStation Direct. Available for purchase in multiple countries including the US, UK, and several European nations, pre-orders encompass teal, pearl, and indigo covers and controllers.
Aligning with previous new release patterns, this follows an almost similar schedule where earlier additions to PlayStation’s lineup were staggered. Alongside the launch, gamers can indulge in other new options like the 30th Anniversary PS5 and PS5 Pro editions, this time decked out in classic 1995 PlayStation grey.
The special edition Fortnite DualSense controller and a separate anniversary DualSense Edge are also on the horizon. Revealed during the latest State of Play event, this Fortnite model’s release date and price will be disclosed later, coinciding with exciting new features like a split-screen mode for Lego Fortnite arriving soon.
Keep an eye out to make the most out of these stylish new offerings.
