Spencer Pratt Provides Update on Taylor Swift Contact
Spencer Pratt addressed his recent comments regarding reaching out to Taylor Swift. His remarks followed the tragic burning down of his and wife Heidi Montag’s home in the Los Angeles wildfires.
After initially stating he reached out to Taylor Swift over the loss of their home, he clarified that his comment was misinterpreted.
"People took that as a serious statement, which it was not," Spencer stated exclusively to E! News at Training Mate’s fire relief workout in Santa Monica, California. "I don’t have Taylor Swift’s number. Yes, that was a joke."
He did, however, contact Swift's longtime publicist, Tree Paine, to try to establish a connection. When asked if there had been any response, he mentioned: "I have a lot of junk mail going on, so an email could have received an answer. I need to check."
Spencer shares two sons, Gunner, 7, and Ryker, 2, with Heidi. Previously, he mentioned that Taylor was among the celebrities he contacted for support of Heidi's music. He reached out to her "right away" for assistance following the incident.
In addition to his efforts with Taylor Swift, the couple connected with Pitbull, who agreed to remix Heidi’s song "I’ll Do It," which experienced a resurgence on TikTok. Beyond the collaboration, Pitbull offered heartfelt support to the couple over a phone call.
"The encouragement and wisdom he shared were uplifting. I often reflect on that phone call," Heidi told. He said, ‘Heidi, mamacita, God has got you. We have a plan. We're gonna save LA.’"
The 38-year-old expressed gratitude for Pitbull's kindness and shared a hope for future success, stating, "I’m glad we could help that song go number one."
Moreover, Heidi hinted at an upcoming original song with "one of the biggest singers in the industry."
"I believe that this song will win a Grammy," she remarked. "It’s going to be huge."
