Stephen A. Smith Predicts Marriage for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

Stephen A. Smith predicts a remarkable year for Travis Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. During his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he speculated about their future together. This conversation occurred on March 5, with Smith confidently suggesting the couple may marry in 2025.

"I’m scared to get this wrong!" Smith said. "Travis Kelce, that’s my dawg." He emphasized that while Kelce has had numerous admirers, Swift stands out. "She looks good. She’s incredibly talented. And she’s worth about a billion dollars," Smith declared, confidently indicating he expects a "yes" to the marriage question.

Fallon replied, expressing hope for the couple. Since mid-2023, Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Swift, a pop superstar, have been romantically linked. However, they didn’t reveal their relationship until September of that year.

The pair have thrived since going public. Swift supported Kelce during multiple Chiefs games, and both attended the Super Bowls in 2024 and 2025. Conversely, Kelce joined Swift at various concerts during her record-breaking Eras Tour, even performing with her on stage in London last June.

"It’s very unlike me. I don’t like going on stages," Kelce said on a July 2024 episode of his "New Heights" podcast. After Jason Kelce discussed the surprise performance, Travis shared how it became a reality. They joked about him entering on a bike during her 1989 section of the tour, which Swift embraced.

During a special part of Swift’s Tortured Poets Department set, Kelce appeared on stage with two of her dancers. He humorously carried Swift while she feigned a tantrum, before she delivered the song "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart." Kelce fondly remembered fanning her as she changed costumes and cherishing the moment.

"They’re trying to bring Tay back to life for the performance," Kelce explained. "It’s such a fun, playful part of the show."

Regarding their relationship, sources revealed to Us Weekly in February that Kelce and Swift are savoring quality time. After Kelce's NFL season and Swift's global tour, a source mentioned "there's a sense of relief" between them. Another source noted how their busy schedules hindered their relationship previously. Now that things have calmed down, they hope to make future plans together.
