Stephen "tWitch" Boss’ Family Considers Legal Action Against Allison Holker
Connie Boss Alexander, the mother of Stephen "tWitch" Boss, announced that the family is exploring legal options against his widow, Allison Holker. This decision follows the release of Holker's memoir, This Far, which contains several allegations about the late dancer.
"Due to the unproven statements published in Allison's memoir, we have decided to seek legal counsel to examine this matter," Connie stated in an Instagram post on February 12. She expressed the need for answers to the many unanswered questions regarding the claims made in the book.
Connie indicated that the family was "completely appalled" by what they believe are misleading and inconsistent accounts from Holker's memoir, released on February 5. She mentioned that, despite the challenges since Stephen's passing, the family has consistently shown compassion towards Allison.
Holker portrays Stephen's story in a way that aligns with her perspective, to the family's distress. Connie noted, "Stephen does not deserve this treatment, in life or death." She highlighted that the allegations have led the family to question Allison's words both publicly and privately.
Among various accusations in This Far, Allison claimed Stephen left behind a "cornucopia of drugs" in their home after his death by suicide in December 2022. Connie publicly challenged this assertion, stating, "I don't believe that there was that type of issue, that type of problem."
During an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, she stated the importance of mental health awareness while emphasizing that the book could have approached these issues differently. "There’s a way to say that in general without denigrating the memory and the legacy that he built for his children," she added.
In response to criticism regarding her memoir, Allison asserted her intention to "help other people." She explained on Instagram that her goal is to celebrate the love and life shared with Stephen and their three children: Weslie, 16, Maddox, 8, and Zaia, 6.
