Taylor Swift Confirmed to Present at the 2025 Grammys
Pop superstar Taylor Swift is set to take the stage as a presenter at the 2025 Grammy Awards, PEOPLE reported. On January 30, the Recording Academy announced her participation in the event, happening on Sunday, February 2. The ceremony will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The Academy's post on X (formerly known as Twitter) read, "Are you ready for it? @taylorswift13 is joining us this Sunday as a presenter at the 67th #GRAMMYs," providing an engaging call to tune in.
While Swift is confirmed as a presenter, the Academy has not revealed which category she will present. She has already won 14 Grammys over her career and is nominated for six awards this year, including Record of the Year for "Fortnight" featuring Post Malone and Album of the Year for "The Tortured Poets Department." Winning Album of the Year again would mark her fifth win in this category, potentially making history.
Swift’s past presenting roles include handing out the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration award for "Umbrella" to Rihanna and Jay-Z in 2008. She also teamed up with Miley Cyrus in 2009 to present the Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals award.
The 2025 Grammy telecast will focus on artists and also emphasize support for victims of the recent Los Angeles wildfires. These fires caused significant devastation and displacement within the community. The Recording Academy noted, "This year's show is about honoring the music of this last year, the bravery of the first responders, and the strength of those impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires."
Viewers can expect performances from various artists, including Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doechii, RAYE, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, and Teddy Swims. Trevor Noah returns as the host for the fifth consecutive year. During a preview, Noah captured the playful spirit of the Grammys, stating, "In a weird way, I've come to understand, it's almost like I'm at a huge party, and I'm trying to work while I’m at the party."
The Grammys 2025 will be broadcast live on Sunday, February 2, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS and Paramount Plus.
