Taylor Swift Congratulates Brittany and Patrick Mahomes on New Arrival

Taylor Swift expressed her support for Brittany and Patrick Mahomes, following the birth of their third child.

On Monday, January 13, Swift, 35, gave a "like" to Brittany’s Instagram post. Brittany announced the arrival of their daughter, Golden, born on Sunday, January 12. Brittany and Patrick, both 29, are also parents to daughter Sterling, aged 3, and son Bronze, aged 2.

Taylor and Brittany have become close since Swift began dating Travis Kelce in 2023. Kelce, 35, is a member of the Kansas City Chiefs, the same team as Patrick Mahomes.

According to sources, "Brittany is thrilled to be building a genuine friendship with Taylor. They’ve hung out several times and grown closer in a short time." Brittany appreciates Taylor's down-to-earth nature and their ability to connect.

The two friends have traveled together, including a trip to Europe in July 2024 during Swift's Eras Tour. Brittany posted on Instagram, "London & Amsterdam, a time was had 🤍" from their vacation. The post featured pictures of their celebration, showcasing warm moments between the friends.

"They enjoy each other's company at games, cheering for their partners. Brittany loves that Taylor is with Travis and fully supports their relationship. Both have a similar sense of humor," an insider revealed.

Swift's reaction serves as her first public acknowledgment of Golden. The singer often gifts handcrafted items for her friends' babies. In 2020, she sent Katy Perry an embroidered blanket for Perry's daughter, Daisy Dove, who is now 4.

"Miss 🌼🕊 adores her hand embroidered blankie from miss @taylorswift 😩😩😩," Perry shared, showcasing the blanket along with Swift's heartfelt note.

Additionally, Chariah Gordon, engaged to Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr., shared a similar experience. While in Europe for the Eras Tour, Swift sent Gordon’s daughter a thoughtful gift. "It’s so freaking cute and so thoughtful," Gordon remarked in an interview. "In between shows, she was keeping my kids super near."
