Taylor Swift Marks the Near End of the Eras Tour with a Dazzling Vancouver Performance
Taylor Swift performed in Vancouver at BC Place Stadium on Friday, December 6, marking the start of her last three shows, PEOPLE reported. During her welcome monologue, part of the Lover era, she expressed, "It means the world to me to have the honor of saying these words to you: Vancouver, welcome to the Eras Tour," as noted in fan footage.
Swift playfully teased her audience, stating, "This is a little-known fact, not many people know this, it hasn’t been talked about very much. Let me share something you may not already know – Vancouver is the last city we will perform on the Eras Tour. Did you know that?"
The Eras Tour started in March 2023 and will conclude in Vancouver on Sunday, December 8.
During her final sold-out show in Toronto on Saturday, November 23, Swift became emotional while receiving a lengthy standing ovation following "Champagne Problems."
In a TikTok video, the "Lavender Haze" artist shared, "This tour … I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. That was … uh, I’m just having a bit of a moment." She paused to wipe away tears while her audience applauded supportively.
"It’s not even the last show!" said the 14-time Grammy winner. She continued, thanking her band, crew, and fans for their dedication: "We have put so much of our lives into this. And you’ve put so much of your lives into being with us tonight and providing us with this unforgettable moment."
Swift also reflected fondly on her time in Toronto, stating, "We’ve loved our time in Toronto; it's been amazing." She wiped her eyes as fans applauded enthusiastically.
The Eras Tour concludes at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver on Sunday, December 8.
