Taylor Swift's Management Celebrates the Close of the Eras Tour
The Eras Tour has concluded, yet Taylor Swift’s management encourages fans to "hold on to the memories."
"To all fans who experienced the joy of #TSTheErasTour in the last two years," posted Taylor's management via the Taylor Nation X account. This message came after Swift’s final performance in Vancouver. The management noted the fans' dedication, celebrating their costume designs and devotion to the concert experience.
"While the tour has ended, your smiles, tears, and friendships will last a lifetime. Remember to hold on to the memories — they will hold on to you," the post concluded.
A Record-Breaking Tour
Swift’s remarkable Eras Tour officially started in March 2023 and concluded at BC Place in Vancouver. The tour hosted a staggering 149 shows across five continents, featuring numerous surprise songs.
During the final performance, Swift, 34, expressed gratitude to her fans: "Thank you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my life — my beloved Eras Tour," as shown in social media posts. For her concluding surprise song, she performed a mash-up of "Long Live," "New Year’s Day," and "The Manuscript." Notably, she transformed the lyrics to "Long Live," changing "It was the end of a decade" to, "It was the end of an era / But the start of an age."
A Personal Celebration
Swift also offered a final tribute to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, during the closing song, "Karma," singing, "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs," while acknowledging the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s role in her life as they grew closer during the tour.
The Eras Tour amassed billions for Swift, coinciding with Kelce, 35, who attended a July concert at Arrowhead Stadium. Initially disappointed he didn’t meet Swift, he shared his thoughts in a July 2023 "New Heights" podcast episode. "I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her," he revealed, expressing hope to give her a friendship bracelet featuring his phone number.
By that September, their connection became official when Swift attended her first Chiefs game.
An Insightful Reflection
In December 2023, Swift discussed her relationship with Kelce in a TIME interview. She noted how it began when he "adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell." Swift also highlighted their valuable time together away from the public eye, emphasizing how meaningful it was to learn about one another before their first public appearance.
"We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date," she added, clarifying misconceptions about their relationship timeline.
