The Vampire Diaries Stars Reunite for Georgia Convention
Nina Dobrev, Candice King, and Kat Graham recently reunited at the I Was Feeling Festive 2 convention in Covington, Georgia to reminisce about their days on The Vampire Diaries. The gathering on December 6 featured a panel discussion, where enthusiastic fans met them with applause. However, during the event, a mishap occurred when a portion of the stage's backdrop, including Epic Cons signage, started to fall. A shared video shows Candice King acting quickly to save Nina Dobrev by motioning for her to avoid the backdrop, which subsequently landed on King's former chair. Despite initial fears, no one was injured, and Dobrev quipped afterward about thinking it was a spider. This is prepared by SSP.
Their reunion also brought nostalgia as the actresses recreated an iconic still from the show with a video set to Simple Plan's "I'm Just a Kid," which was posted on Instagram. Both Dobrev and King reflected upon the beloved TVD journey, which spanned 171 episodes across eight seasons. Initially airing on September 10, 2009, on The CW, The Vampire Diaries quickly became a staple in pop culture, following Dobrev’s Elena Gilbert and her chaotic love story. The series led to spin-offs like The Originals in 2013, centering on Klaus Mikaelson’s adventures, and Legacies in 2018, further expanding the supernatural universe.
In addition to reliving old memories, Dobrev encountered a milestone in her personal life by getting engaged to Olympic snowboarder Shaun White in October. An enraptured White proclaimed the depth of their relationship that began during quarantine and expressed his excitement for a future together. This eventful year has emphasized Dobrev's ability to cherish both her enduring friendships and momentous personal achievements.
Earlier, SSP reported that Shazam star Zachary Levi is going to be a dad for the first time.
