Tim Allen and Jane Hajduk Share Their Secret to Keeping Romance Alive

Tim Allen and Jane Hajduk have discovered a new fitness-focused activity to nurture their relationship.

The couple shared insights with PEOPLE at the red carpet premiere of Cirque du Soleil's KOOZA in Santa Monica on October 24, 2023. They attended the event alongside their 15-year-old daughter, Elizabeth.

Stretching Together

When asked about their nearly 20-year marriage, Hajduk, 58, revealed their secret: "Our new activity is stretching." She explained, "We go to a little stretch lab, and then we go have breakfast."

Allen, 71, humorously added, "I can actually stand up straight" when questioned about the impact of these classes. Hajduk further emphasized the benefits, saying it "just feels like you’re doing something great for your body."

Importance of Communication

The couple highlighted the significance of communication in their relationship. "We talk," Hajduk said, with Allen adding, "That’s right, we talk. We do. And we're good buddies." This mutual friendship bolsters their bond further, showcasing the foundation of their long-lasting partnership.

Allen and Hajduk began dating five years before their wedding on October 7, 2006, in Grand Lake, Colorado, situated two hours from Denver, where Allen was born. The intimate, outdoor ceremony included just close family members.

Their family also featured Allen’s daughter, Katherine Dick, from his previous marriage to Laura Deibel, which lasted from 1984 to 1999.
