Tom Holland Periodically Searches for Zendaya Online

Tom Holland explained the reason behind occasionally Googling his girlfriend, Zendaya, with whom he has been for nearly three years.

From time to time, Tom will search for Zendaya online. He provided insight into why he checks on her news.

"The last thing I Googled was actually 'Zendaya,'" Tom stated during the On the Menu podcast on Oct. 31.

"It's more of an anxiety thing. I check to see that everything's good and make sure we're all cool. So, I just give her a little Google, look at the news, and think, 'She's good. Fine.'"

The 28-year-old actor has shown his protective boyfriend side before. Recently, he came to Zendaya's aid when she was crowded by fans and paparazzi. This incident occurred as they both exited a car together in New York City.

An online video captured the moment where they held hands, only to be separated. Photos of Zendaya showed her being surrounded by photographers and approached by fans for autographs. To remedy the situation, Tom stepped in, saying, "No, no, no," and took her hand protectively.

The pair met on the set of the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming and notably competed in a Lip Sync Battle episode that remains a fan favorite.

Although romance rumors began surfacing in 2021, they have since become nearly inseparable and consistently support one another in their careers.

"I'm lucky to have someone like Zendaya in my life," Tom shared on the July 3 episode of the Smartless podcast with Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett. "It's interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone in the same boat as you."

The Avengers star remarked, "You can share your experiences, and that kind of connection is invaluable."
