Travis Kelce Prefers More Suitable Date Locations Over Strip Clubs
Travis Kelce is openly discussing his dating preferences while currently dating Taylor Swift. In a recent episode of his podcast, "New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce," he addressed a caller's question about the "worst" date locations, PEOPLE reported.
When asked where not to go, Travis humorously replied, "Maybe don’t take her to the strip club." He added that while some strip clubs have good wings, he does not have experience in that arena. The caller emphasized his point by suggesting such places guarantee a lack of second dates.
In the same episode, Travis noted the importance of considering a date’s interests. He said, "If she’s not into sports, don’t take her to a f---ing sports game." He expressed frustration in trying to educate someone uninterested.
Travis also felt optimistic about planning dates with Swift, stating that he’s envisioned only positive ideas so far. "I can make anything shake," he joked during the conversation.
His brother Jason, meanwhile, emphasized the significance of attitude over location when creating a memorable date. He advised, "It’s really what you make of it." As a father of three – with another child on the way – he recognizes the nuances of dating and relationships.
Jason noted that compromise is paramount for healthy relationships. He shared that while his wife Kylie enjoys the holiday movie "Love Actually," it’s not his personal favorite. He resigned to watch it together, referencing the necessity of being a considerate partner.
Aside from dating tips, the episode reflected on Swift’s recent "Eras Tour," concluding in Vancouver on December 8. Travis praised the tour, calling it "insane" and noting the amount of work that went into the production. He dedicated a shout-out to "Tay," noting the crew’s contribution but concluded with a playful nod to Swift: "But mostly because of Taylor!"
Travis Kelce’s insights reveal his candid approach to relationships and highlight the importance of respect and consideration in dating.
