Victoria Beckham Discusses the Appeal of Her Sons' Girlfriends

Victoria Beckham recently spoke to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour about her generosity in lending fashion pieces to her sons' partners. This includes important figures like Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.

The former Spice Girl has three sons — Brooklyn, 25; Romeo, 22; and Cruz, 19 — and a daughter, Harper, 13, with her husband, David Beckham. She expressed her joy in sharing her extensive wardrobe with the women in her life, including Cruz's girlfriend, Jackie Apostel.

"I love my clothes and I take care of them," Victoria explained to Anna Wintour on October 18. "But I believe clothes should be enjoyed. If one of the young ones wants to wear my clothes — be it Harper or the boys’ girlfriends — that feels flattering. They are much younger than me, after all."

Victoria also discussed the conditions under which she lends her fashion items. "I’m not overly attached to those things," she noted, "except for Hermès."

She mentioned a different approach regarding her daughter. Victoria hinted at sharing her collection with Harper when her daughter "takes notice of those handbags," though that point in time is not quite here yet.

Victoria reinforces her support for the strong women around her family. Earlier this year, she showcased her bond with Nicola during a boat ride. Their dance to the Spice Girls' classic "Say You’ll Be There" was a fun moment, complete with large bunny ears.

In a heartfelt message alongside the video, Victoria expressed affection, saying, "Love you so much." Nicola responded with equal affection, noting, "I love you so much!!"

When Nicola chose to be with her grandmother over attending Victoria's momentous 50th birthday celebration, she still publicly celebrated her mother-in-law. "Happy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham," she wrote on Instagram, sharing her gratitude with the statement, "I love you so much and love being your dance partner forever."
