Why Pregnant Olivia Culpo is Commenting on Sister Aurora Culpo’s New Relationship

Aurora Culpo recently updated her followers about her love life by posting a romantic photo featuring her new boyfriend. Olivia Culpo, who is currently pregnant, had some sassy responses to this update.

Aurora Culpo is moving forward with her romance and doesn't seek approval, even from her pregnant sister. The host of the Barely Filtered podcast shared an Instagram Story on March 23. In the post, she kissed her new boyfriend on the cheek, captioning it with the hashtag "#LOML," short for "love of my life." This prompted Olivia to express her disapproval. She messaged Aurora saying, "Too soon for this hashtag," to which Aurora humorously replied, "Lol no it’s not."

In another message, the expecting mother reprimanded her sister, indicating, "It’s giving: ‘I’m not thinking with my right mind.’" Aurora, however, playfully shrugged off Olivia’s concerns, using hashtags like "#snoozefestsister" and "#pregnancybrain." 

Aurora, 35, shares two children, Remi (6) and Solei (4), with her ex-husband Michael Bortone. Previously, she dated Paul Bernon, who was once engaged to reality star Bethenny Frankel. Their relationship ended in July after only two months. At that time, Aurora mentioned on her podcast, "I would've preferred it to go longer, but unfortunately, he dumped me." She expressed disappointment, noting the pain of a breakup is tough on self-esteem.

The breakdown of her relationship included challenges stemming from the public's interest, including comments made by Bethenny on her podcast about the breakup. Aurora said, "It's not a good look to announce the breakup of your ex-boyfriend with his new girlfriend. It’s not your story to tell, but she did."

Despite the breakup's emotional toll, Aurora found silver linings from the relationship. "You learn something new from every person that you date," she told E! News in October. "That’s dating—figuring out what works and doesn’t work." Aurora concluded with hope: "Hopefully, you take a little bit of what you learned last time and you implement it.
