Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia recently opened up about her experience at the 2024 Golden Globes, claiming it was negatively impacted by her ex-boyfriend, Zach Bryan. During the latest episode of the BFFs podcast, she discussed alleged emotional abuse and an attempt to control her public image. LaPaglia claims Bryan pressured her regarding her choice of dress and encouraged her to alter her social media presence.

LaPaglia reported feeling overwhelmed during the event due to Bryan's reactions. "That was crazy. It was the first time he tried to manage what I wore and posted," she shared. Despite her excitement over the Golden Globes, she revealed that Bryan unfollowed her and expressed discontent with her appearance. "He didn’t want to date someone that presents themselves that way," she said.

The influencer stated that the evening began favorably until she sent Bryan pictures. Initially, he appeared happy but later criticized her outfit. LaPaglia described feeling disheartened as she spent the night crying to her friend, Grace O’Malley. "He told me I had to delete Instagram pictures, as if I had to adjust my image," she added, indicating feelings of confusion.

LaPaglia explained that anytime she celebrated, Bryan allegedly found a way to undermine her happiness. "He ruined my birthday, my tour, and the Golden Globes. Anything I did for myself, he had to spoil," she asserted. The culmination of her distress came when Bryan reposted a picture of her at the Golden Globes, claiming she was "so beautiful," despite his earlier actions of unfollowing her. This created a contradictory emotional struggle for LaPaglia.

Brianna and Zach began dating in July 2023, having a relationship that lasted over a year before their breakup was confirmed in October. LaPaglia’s insights into their relationship emphasize the toxic dynamics described in the podcast.
