Zendaya Showcases Engagement Ring After Tom Holland's Proposal News

Zendaya radiated happiness during her recent public appearance. She stepped out on the evening of January 6 for a screening of her film 'Challengers" at the Pacific Design Center, West Hollywood. This event marked her first outing since confirming her engagement to her "Spider-Man" co-star, Tom Holland.

The 28-year-old actress looked stunning in a plunging black leather blazer paired with a black mini skirt. Her dark hair was styled in a ponytail, complemented by chic bangs. However, the highlight of her look was her dazzling engagement ring. The 5.02-carat East-West Cushion Diamond Button Back Ring is from London-based jeweler Jessica McCormack. Zendaya first unveiled it at the 2025 Golden Globes on January 5.

DeuxMoi was the first to share details about the ring from the designer's collection. As Zendaya entered the screening room, she placed her left hand over her chest, proudly displaying the intricate piece, which is featured prominently in the engagement section on the jeweler's website.

TMZ broke the news that Zendaya and the 28-year-old Holland are set to wed. The report reveals that Holland proposed during a holiday gathering at one of Zendaya's family homes. A source later informed PEOPLE that those close to the couple knew an engagement might happen, although they weren't aware of the timing. The same source added that Holland had been planning the proposal for quite some time.

"He’s always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one," noted the insider. "They have something very special." Furthermore, the source mentioned that Holland shared the budding engagement news with friends around New Year's.

Despite their engagement, the couple isn't rushing into wedding plans. According to a family source, Zendaya and Holland will take their time. "They will just enjoy things for now and won't rush a wedding. They are both busy with work projects."

Holland had hinted at his proposal plans during a December 18 appearance on the U.K. podcast *Dish*. He shared that he would spend Christmas with Zendaya's family, but he humorously kept the location "a secret."

"[Secret] to you guys," he joked. "I’ll know where we’re going." During the podcast, he also highlighted the positives of working with Zendaya, adding to the couple's whimsical yet loving dynamic.
