50 Cent Sees Eminem as the "Greatest" Grandfather
Rapper 50 Cent believes Eminem will be an extraordinary grandfather, describing the internationally acclaimed musician, whom he considers his mentor, as someone who's "still cool." This insight follows 50 Cent's announcement on October 15 about his inaugural Las Vegas residency, "50 Cent: In Da Club," PEOPLE reported.
Eminem's transition into grandfatherhood coincided with the emotional music video release for his song "Temporary" on October 3. The touching video featured personal footage of his daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, 28, culminating in the revelation of her pregnancy through a sonogram and a custom Detroit Lions jersey reading "Grandpa," gifted by her husband, Evan McClintock. The heartfelt moment reportedly brought Eminem to tears.
Reflecting on their friendship, 50 Cent recalls Eminem's early support: "He put me on, so he's my guy forever." Discovered by Eminem in 2002 and signed to Shady Records, 50 Cent has thrived across music and on-screen roles while his friend remained focused solely on his music career, a steadfastness that has maintained Eminem at the pinnacle of the rap industry. "He's still the number one," affirmed 50 Cent, likening Eminem’s dedication to his grandmother's unyielding support during his upbringing.
Concurrently, 50 Cent is preparing an energetic production for his Vegas shows at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, which will stretch into early 2025, including a New Year's Eve event, inspired by creative potential and innovation.
