Dressed as Madeline Ashton from Streep's 1992 film "Death Becomes Her," Adele, at 36, delighted audiences and Streep alike, wearing a silver jacket, blonde wig, and bold necklace. As she performed "When We Were Young," Adele paused to greet the Oscar-winning actress, who was 75. Their encounter included cheerful curtsies and a heartfelt hug, with Adele expressing her admiration to Streep in a touching exchange.

This affectionate interaction echoed a previous emotional meeting with another icon, Céline Dion, which occurred at a performance on October 26. Video footage online shows that upon spotting Dion, 56, Adele left the stage, causing both to embrace as tears welled. This moment was significant for Adele, who has been performing in "Celine Dion's room," at the Colosseum, finding it exceptionally meaningful to interact with the singer she idolized and whose photo graces the stage to inspire her.
