Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Celebrate Halloween with Family Traditions
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton embraced the Halloween spirit in 2024 by dressing up together, PEOPLE reported. The couple first went public with their relationship during Halloween week in 2015. They married in July 2021 and have continued to celebrate the spooky holiday with enthusiasm.
Stefani, 55, transformed into Snow White for the occasion, while Shelton, 48, donned a playful turtle costume. The two often celebrate Halloween with Stefani's three sons from her marriage with Gavin Rossdale – Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 10.
On Instagram, Stefani showcased a video revealing her costume. Her portrayal included a short black wig, classic blue and yellow dress, and bright red lips. She added several selfies in her Stories, only to highlight Shelton in a full-body turtle suit. Other clips presented moments of her children dressed up, alongside glimpses of Halloween decor and footage of their family trick-or-treating.
Stefani added a cheerful caption with her post, saying, "Happy Halloween my little marighoulds 👻🧡," which played alongside her new single, "Bouquet."
In a lead-up to the festivities, Stefani nostalgically recalled a past Halloween. On October 30, she shared a cherished photo from 2015, marking the beginning of her relationship with Shelton. At the time, they attended Jared Leto's private Halloween party mingling with celebrities like Jessica Alba and Nicky Hilton.
The couple showcased their playful nature at that event. Shelton wore a striped shirt with a Wienerschnitzel baseball cap. Meanwhile, Stefani sported a rustic mini dress, a cowgirl hat, and faux blood artfully smeared on her face.
"You met me in October, I had nothing to lose...," Stefani captioned the throwback post. These lyrics accompanied a video in her post depicting clouds gliding past the moon.
Additionally, Stefani recently discussed her connection with Shelton during a cover story interview. Their shared history as judges on "The Voice" highlights the depth of their relationship.
"I didn’t see any of this coming with Blake. It was an amazing gift to experience love for the first time," she shared.
"He's changed my life... when I started dating Blake, that's when I felt home," she added.
