Gypsy-Rose Blanchard Embraces Privacy as She Awaits First Child
In a TikTok update posted on November 16, 2024, Gypsy-Rose Blanchard expressed her desire for a more private life by no longer sharing personal updates on public platforms, PEOPLE reported. The 33-year-old explained that this decision comes from a need to protect herself and her growing family as she looks forward to life with her soon-to-arrive baby girl with boyfriend Ken Urker.
Blanchard, known for her past experiences with Munchausen syndrome by proxy and her journey to freedom, has been open about her life struggles and triumphs on social media. However, she's reached a point where she wishes to keep special moments private, sharing them only with family and close friends. Despite this change, Blanchard reassured followers she'd still provide updates regarding her memoir "My Time To Stand" and her Lifetime series "Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup."
Her private TikTok and Instagram accounts will now only accept followers whom Blanchard personally knows, promoting the mental and emotional well-being of her family. Though significant portions of her accounts' content have already been removed, Blanchard expressed gratitude for her supporters.
Recently, Blanchard confirmed via Instagram the results of a prenatal paternity test, confirming Ken Urker as the father of her child. This comes after speculation regarding her former partner, Ryan Anderson. Blanchard shared their excitement to welcome their daughter, alongside Urker, to the world.
