On October 8, Fischer revealed she had completed treatment for Stage 1 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. In an uplifting update, she informed her Instagram followers that she is now cancer-free after undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. US Weekly Reported.
Fischer expressed her excitement to demonstrate how "happy and healthy" she feels. She debuted her new "patchy pixie" hairstyle, a visible sign of her journey, following several months of treatment stemming from her diagnosis in December 2022. This weekend, she shared more of her story and an adorable photo with a recap of the "American Idiot" musical she attended in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 12.

"Each person had their own special way of caring for us," she explained, noting how others sent texts during chemotherapy, took her for walks, and even helped with wig shopping. Following her cancer announcement, Fischer received overwhelming messages of encouragement. Co-star John Krasinski expressed his support, saying, "We love you! You’re amazing!"
