Madonna Kicks Off Spooky Season in a Chic All-Black Look
Crossing paths with a black cat may bring bad luck. However, seeing Madonna in her recent, sleek all-black attire is anything but unfortunate.
Recently, the Queen of Pop was spotted in Midtown Manhattan. She looked stunningly fabulous, yet her outfit was noticeably devoid of color. With her inky ensemble, the "Hung Up" singer seemed ready to embrace the spooky spirit as October begins. Perhaps she draws inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe’s "The Raven."
A Closer Look at Madonna's Outfit
Styled by Rita Melssen, Madonna wore a standout piece: a single-breasted black trench coat from Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall/Winter '24 collection. This long outerwear is crafted from crunchy black leather that sparkles like slick oil under the moonlight. The coat features dramatic black feathers, enveloping the shoulders and sleeves entirely.
Beneath the coat, the Material Girl sported a lacy bodysuit paired with fishnet stockings, which she showcased by leaving her belt-adorned outerwear effortlessly open.
Touches of Color Amidst the Dark
For a subtle hint of color, Madonna opted for a multicolored diamond necklace draped across her chest. However, she kept the look consistent. Her black leather boots featured metallic heels and lacy front panels, matching her jet black tote bag. To enhance her mysterious vibe, Madonna completed her look with opaque black visor sunglasses.
Recently, the music superstar teased a collaboration with D&G. This outfit suggests the continuation of that fashion partnership. From what I've seen, I fully support this styling choice.
