Meghan Markle at Highbrow Hippie Launch Party in Venice
Meghan Markle recently added to her investment portfolio by backing Highbrow Hippie, a female-led brand. On November 14, the Duchess, aged 43, attended the brand's launch event at Gjelina restaurant in Venice, California, PEOPLE reported. Celebrating her hair colorist Kadi Lee's new Haircare and Wellness line, Meghan was seen alongside Lee and Serge Normant, her longtime hairstylist famous for styling her hair at her 2018 wedding. Enthusiastic about the venture, Meghan praised Kadi's expertise in hair health, considering the collection a true reflection of that mastery.
At the launch, Markle donned a sleeveless black jumpsuit featuring flared trousers and accessorized with a pendant necklace, gold round earrings, and several rings. Her hair, softly curled and middle-parted, completed the ensemble. Post-event Instagram videos showcased her lively participation in gospel choir performances.
The gathering included a bevy of Meghan's close friends, such as her trusted makeup artist, Daniel Martin, and Tatcha founder Vicky Tsai, both notably present in her docuseries with Prince Harry. Martin expressed the importance of celebrating community and creativity among close friends. Lee, in collaboration with business partner Myka Harris, is focused on Highbrow Hippie Haircare & Wellness, promoting solutions for hair loss and healthful aging of hair.
In August, Meghan disclosed her investments in several brands like Cesta Collective, foreseeing them as complementary to her upcoming lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. These ventures are part of her journey towards personal investment. Lee also serves stars like Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Diane von Furstenberg, who praise the brand’s outcomes, with items such as the Essential Wellbeing Complex Supplements and Root Replenish Active Growth Serum boosting hair health effectively.
