Miranda Kerr Reveals the Meaning Behind Her Son's Name
In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE at the 2024 Baby2Baby Gala, model Miranda Kerr opened up about the touching inspiration behind her youngest son’s name. Kerr, 41, explained that her 8-month-old son Pierre is named in honor of her late grandfather, Peter, noting that Pierre is the French version of Peter. Kerr and her husband, Evan Spiegel, welcomed Pierre in February, joining their other children, Dylan, 6, and Myles, 5. Kerr also has a 13-year-old son, Flynn, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom. Kerr expressed how her older sons adore their baby brother, describing him as "the light of our home."
Miranda shared how even before Pierre’s birth, a strong bond developed with his siblings, particularly Myles, who would kiss Kerr's stomach daily during her pregnancy. Now, Myles continues this affection with his baby brother.
Evan and Miranda Kerr attended the star-studded 2024 Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles, joined by celebrities such as Charlize Theron, Ashanti, and Jessica Alba.
In an earlier interview with The Sunday Times, Kerr expressed feeling blessed by her new son, stating that he "completes our family."
