Paris Hilton Reflects on Possible Collaboration with Lindsay Lohan
Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, former friends turned foes from the early 2000s, are considering a musical collaboration now that they've mended their relationship. In an interview with Vulture on September 20, Hilton, promoting her new album Infinite Icon, expressed enthusiasm for a potential remix project involving Lohan. "A remix with her would be so iconic. I love Lindsay," said Hilton, 43. Reflecting on Lohan's music career, Hilton remarked, "Her album was sick," particularly appreciating the 2004 hit "Rumors." This is prepared by SSP.
Hilton and Lohan initially gained fame through different avenues: Lohan with her successful movie and music career and Hilton as a socialite and reality TV star on The Simple Life (2003-2007). Hilton ventured into music herself in 2006 with her debut album featuring the single "Stars are Blind."
Discussing her evolving music career, Hilton compared her earlier track to her new single "I’m Free." "When I listen to ‘I’m Free,’ I can hear a woman who has discovered who she is. That’s why I wanted to make songs that are empowering," Hilton added, emphasizing her newfound confidence.
Despite their fraught history—including public spats in 2006 fueled by Lohan's connection to Hilton’s ex Stavros Niarchos and mutual name-calling—they have reconciled as of January 2022. Hilton commented during an interview with "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," "I just feel that we’re grown-ups now. We’re not, like, in high school."
In addition to her collaboration hopes with Lohan, Hilton's musical pursuits have expanded. Infinite Icon, her second studio album, saw contributions from prominent artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Meghan Trainor, and Rina Sawayama. Influenced by Sia, whom Hilton credited as her inspiration and executive producer, Hilton is also preparing for live performances, including a concert series in Los Angeles.
This potential collaboration marks an end to Hilton and Lohan’s infamous feud and highlights their growth and readiness to address the mistakes of their past while looking ahead.
