Taylor Swift’s Third Toronto Eras Tour Show Celebrated with Star Guests
At the third Toronto performance of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour on Saturday, Nov. 16, 34-year-old Swift dazzled the full-house crowd at Rogers Centre with her extensive 45-song setlist, which included several surprise song mashups and captured celebrity attention, PEOPLE reported.
The iconic singer-songwriter, who is halfway through her six oroginal concerts in Toronto, found support from familiar faces like Mariska Hargitay, who attended with her husband, Peter Hermann. The Law & Order: SVU star took to Instagram, sharing a glimpse of her bracelets – a staple for Eras Tour attendees – and pictures of the couple enjoying the concert. She added a humorous twist, captioning images by naming the pop sensation whose cat, Olivia Benson, nods to her SVU character. Hargitay, a longtime Swift fan, might find her own 2023-named cat, Karma, a fitting tribute as well.
Additionally, photos circulating on X (formerly Twitter) displayed Zooey Deschanel, alongside her fiancé Jonathan Scott as part of the audience. Deschanel donned a blue black-edged jacket, while Scott layered up in brown. Another remarkable link with television realms saw Swift appear in New Girl’s second season as a guest character, Elaine.
During the concert, Swift brought forth Gracie Abrams to collaborate for a beautiful acoustic meld of Abrams’ song "Us" with Swift’s "Out of the Woods." The pop luminary went solo afterward, merging Midnights’ "You’re On Your Own, Kid" and Evermore's "long story short" for an acoustic piano performance.
In line with her Canadian debut, Swift received a fostering tribute at Rogers Centre adorned uniquely with an oversized Eras-themed bracelet that transitioned from Indianapolis and New Orleans.
Canada welcomed her with exuberance that rang all the way up to the political arena, as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau warmly welcomed her through an X post sprinkling Reputation-inspired references for her exclusive Toronto appointments. Ahead of her slated third night, experiences of marked anticipation shadowed Swift's mention of upcoming releases, highlighting ‘The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology’ and the Eras Tour book.
Earlier, SSP wrote that Taylor Swift expressed gratitude for TTPD support and Grammy nominations.
