Vanessa Morgan Shares Name of Her Newborn Baby Girl: 'Enjoying All the Baby Snuggles'

Vanessa Morgan, the 'Riverdale' and 'Wild Cards' actress, recently shared on Instagram that she welcomed her first child with boyfriend James Karnik on July 27. On August 21, Morgan revealed their daughter's name, Kaia Autumn Skye, after having soaked up three weeks of precious moments with their new baby girl, People reported.

"Kaia Autumn Skye. Born July 27th. Been enjoying all the baby snuggles these past 3 weeks with our angel. Beyond Grateful," Morgan captioned the Instagram post, which featured several heartwarming photos. One picture showed Kaia held by her older brother River, Morgan's son from her previous marriage to Michael Kopech. Other images included affectionate moments with Karnik, including the couple holding Kaia's tiny hand, and sweet family snapshots, highlighting River’s joy and baby Kaia’s adorable presence.

Additionally, Morgan mentioned how her friends and co-stars, including her 'Riverdale' colleague Skeet Ulrich, shared heartfelt congratulations and love for her growing family. Skeet Ulrich commented, "Such a beautiful family ❤️❤️," while 'Wild Cards' co-actor Giacomo Gianniotti and 'Margaux' costar Madison Pettis also chimed in with their blessings.

Earlier in August, Vanessa Morgan had posted a TikTok video showing Karnik carrying their baby girl out of the hospital, humorously captioning it with, "The famous hot dad walk while leaving the hospital didn't disappoint. Ok fine, knock me up again 😂🤰🏽."

The couple announced the pregnancy in July, and shortly after, Morgan revealed they were expecting a baby girl. Reflecting on her experience as a mother of two, Morgan previously mentioned valuable parenting advice received from her 'Riverdale' co-stars, Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa, after the birth of her son River in January 2021.
