Victoria and David Beckham Cause a Stir in Miami Beach Neighborhood
It seems that wealth doesn't always ensure harmonious neighborly relations, as Victoria and David Beckham have already managed to annoy their new neighbors shortly after moving into an $80 million mansion in Miami Beach, Page Six reported. The root of the issue lies in the couple's lack of privacy.
Traditionally, celebrities and affluent individuals often establish limited liability companies when purchasing property to keep their addresses private. For example, a star might set up an LLC linked to an attorney's office, making only that address public. However, the Beckhams opted to buy their home using their real names. This decision has resulted in fans, paparazzi, and curious locals flocking to the area, easily locating the famous pair's residence akin to a simple directory search.
The luxurious residence equipped with a gym, sauna, and dock for their 100-foot yacht, alongside having additional stars like Shakira and Barry Gibb as neighbors, does nothing to shield the Beckhams from the unexpected attention they drew by not using an LLC. The surrounding community, accustomed to privacy in contrast to the glamor of areas like Beverly Hills, is growing uneasy with the increased public scrutiny, citing safety concerns. Neighbors quietly express their wish that the Beckhams had taken steps to maintain discretion.
Despite the 13-bathroom mansion's impressive amenities, including an outdoor kitchen and rooftop lounge overlooking Biscayne Bay with boat mooring space, locals continue to voice their worries. So far, representatives for the Beckhams haven't addressed these neighborhood complaints.
