Zayn Malik Reschedules European Tour Dates
Zayn Malik has announced adjustments to certain dates on his European tour due to unforeseen circumstances, US Weekly reported. Originally scheduled events for Malik's 'Stairway to the Sky' show in Edinburgh have new dates: the concert on November 20th is now set for December 8th, and the November 21st show has been moved to December 9th. Malik conveyed this update on his Instagram Story on November 14th. Importantly, tickets purchased for the original dates will remain valid for the rescheduled performances.
Though specific reasons for the schedule changes were not disclosed, Malik had previously postponed the U.S. leg of his tour in response to the tragic death of former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne. Payne passed away on October 16th at the age of 31, following a fall from a balcony in Argentina. Malik mourned his friend in an Instagram tribute, expressing gratitude for Payne's support during challenging times and recalling their friendship during their years together.
In a statement from October 19th, Malik addressed the U.S. postponements, underscoring the impact of Payne's passing and revealing plans to resume his U.S. tour commencement in January 2025. Fans are assured that their tickets will remain applicable for new dates. Malik reflected on the loss with heartfelt words, aiming for Payne to rest in peace knowing he was cherished.
