Brantley Gilbert Celebrates Birth of Son During Concert
Country singer Brantley Gilbert paused his Friday night concert in Tupelo, Mississippi, to welcome the arrival of his son with his wife, Amber, who went into labor on their tour bus.
Gilbert shared a heartfelt video on Instagram the following day, capturing the emotional moment. He reflected on the night, stating, "So last night might have been the craziest night of my life." He praised Amber's strength, commenting on "such an amazing woman" doing something equally remarkable.
He expressed gratitude toward their touring team, particularly Brittany Thornton for assisting with the birth, and thanked Tupelo for their support. His message to Amber was particularly touching: "Thank you for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you."
The video opened with Gilbert performing before he abruptly exited the stage, responding to an emergency message. He then called his mother, announcing the arrival of the "new grandbaby" while the camera revealed the newborn.
When his mother inquired about Amber, Gilbert remarked, "She’s a freaking savage." Following the call, he returned to the audience and joyfully announced, "We got a baby," prompting enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.
Gilbert did not disclose the baby boy’s name. The video ended with black-and-white images of the proud parents holding their newborn.
On his Instagram Story, Gilbert joyfully wrote, "We’ve got a new addition to the Gilbert Family… God is good." This marks their third child since marriage in 2015. The couple also has a son, Barrett, 6, and a daughter, Braylen, 5.
