Jennifer Lopez Evades Questions About Ex Sean 'Diddy' Combs Amid His Legal Controversy
Jennifer Lopez consistently avoids answering inquiries concerning her former partner, Sean "Diddy" Combs, despite escalating interest in what she might know regarding the allegations against him, Page Six reported. The paparazzi have approached Lopez twice to elicit her response to the troubling accusations facing Combs, but she has remained silent.
During a Los Angeles event on October 26 for her film "Unstoppable," Lopez was approached by a fan inquiring about Combs. Exhibiting an impassive demeanor, she ignored the question and swiftly left the scene with a bodyguard, as captured by footage shared with the Daily Mail. Additionally, on October 19, amidst photographers at the LA hotspot Funke, Lopez, clad in a tan dress and escorted by a friend, chose not to answer similar probing from the paparazzi.
Lopez, who shared a romantic relationship with Combs from 1999 to 2001—overlapping with the timeframe of some allegations—and who has not been implicated in any of his legal charges, joins other celebrities distancing themselves from him. For instance, comedian Kevin Hart refused to discuss his connection to Combs' notorious gatherings, expressing the inappropriateness of such questions.
Recently, an ex-Playboy model, Rachel Kennedy, further involved Lopez in the scandal by claiming Combs made her watch Lopez's music video at one of his infamous gatherings. Kennedy described the experience as unsettling and disrespectful, further alleging that Combs was in touch with Lopez during a separate encounter around 2000. Lawyer Tony Buzbee, representing numerous cases against Combs, suggests several influential figures are involved in these accusations, promising that forthcoming revelations will be startling. In all this, Combs maintains his innocence against all allegations.
