Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber Welcome Their First Child: Jack Blues Bieber
Pop star Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey have joyfully announced the birth of their first child, People reported. On Friday, August 23, the couple shared the news on Instagram, revealing their son's name as Jack Blues Bieber. Justin, 30, posted a picture of Jack's tiny foot, captioned "WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER," while Hailey, 27, also shared the same photo in her Instagram Stories, accompanied by a teddy bear and blue heart emoji.
The new family received warm congratulatory messages from loved ones and celebrities alike. Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, and Justin’s mother, Pattie Mallette, both expressed their happiness on social media. Famous friends such as Katy Perry and Kylie Jenner also chimed in, with Perry writing, "Your blessing has arrived," and Jenner quipping, "I can't handle this little foot."
The Bieber couple announced their pregnancy back in May 2024, with Hailey debuting her baby bump in a video and photos where she donned a white lace dress. A rep confirmed that Hailey was over six months pregnant at the time of the announcement. Their journey towards parenthood has been a much-anticipated and eagerly followed event.
Hailey and Justin tied the knot in a New York City courthouse in September 2018, merely two months after their engagement. They later had a larger celebration with family and friends in Bluffton, South Carolina. Despite the privacy they have sought, both have been candid about their relationship and future plans in various public appearances and interviews.
Addressing previous pregnancy rumors in GQ Hype, Hailey expressed frustration over constant speculation but simultaneously looked forward to motherhood. She highlighted the importance of privacy, especially now with their new addition.
As for Justin, he had made it clear in a 2020 interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he wished to respect Hailey's timeline for starting a family, expressing his desire to have "a little tribe" but emphasizing that it was entirely up to Hailey.
This happy news comes after a challenging year for Justin who had to cancel parts of his "Justice" world tour due to recovering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which can cause facial paralysis. Despite these setbacks, he made a surprise appearance at Coachella recently, performing "Essence" with Wizkid during Nigerian star Tems' set.
