Kim Kardashian Says She’s ‘Basically Raising 4 Kids’ by Herself After Split From Kanye West

Kim Kardashian has shared her challenges of solo parenting after her divorce from Kanye West. In a recent episode of Zoe Winkler’s podcast, "What the Winkler?" Kardashian, 44, expressed her feelings about managing parenting alone, US Weekly reported.

Kardashian remarked, "I think you and I’ve mostly connected on parenting." She acknowledged the pressure many parents feel, saying she sometimes struggles despite having support. "I feel like sometimes you’re in this alone," she added, reflecting on the hidden pressures even amid support systems.

Despite her wealth and resources, Kardashian admitted to feeling overwhelmed at times. She explained why she does not frequently discuss her struggles. "But sometimes in the middle of the night... it’s not something that I talk about a lot," she revealed. The criticism she anticipates makes it difficult for her to be open. "I’m basically raising four kids by myself," she stated.

Together with West, 47, Kardashian shares four children: North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5. She filed for divorce in February 2021, finalizing the proceedings in November 2022. West has since remarried Bianca Censori, confirming their marriage for religious reasons in October 2023.

While managing her high-profile lifestyle, Kardashian still takes charge of ordinary mom duties, such as driving her children to school. "I mean even carpool this morning, I had five kids that I had to take," she explained. Coordinating various schedules felt like a "pit stop of a race car driver" because of competing demands.

Kardashian’s children show their appreciation for her care. On her birthday last October, North gifted her a gold-and-diamond necklace. They celebrated as a family by creating balloons adorned with Polaroids of exciting moments and heartfelt messages. One note read, "You are a flower to me," while another said, "Happy birthday, I love you, Mom."

Kardashian proudly displayed these gifts on Instagram. She also received a sparkling Balenciaga purse with silver hardware. "You know when I see a crystally bag, it’s heaven for me," she shared joyfully on her Stories.
