Madeline Gaudreau celebrated her baby shower over the weekend, just under two months after the tragic death of her husband, Matthew, in a car accident. "Baby Shower of my Dreams 🤍🕊️," she captioned the post.

Madeline is expecting her first child, a baby boy named Tripp Matthew, with her late husband. She expressed immense gratitude towards the "amazing" individuals who organized the shower. The emotional decorations also honored her husband's memory. "The way you were able to tie in my husband brought instant tears when I walked in," Madeline recounted. She also noted, "Beautiful people surround my baby to remind him how amazing they were 💙."

Guests savored custom cookies shaped like moons, clouds, and stars, each fitting the celebratory theme. Some cookies featured the message "Heaven Sent," while others showcased baby Tripp's name, adding a personal touch to the occasion.

Madeline showcased her growing baby bump in a light blue maxi dress and posed for several photos with friends, highlighting strong family connections at the shower. Among the attendees was her sister-in-law, Meredith Gaudreau. Meredith, currently pregnant with her third child, is married to Matthew’s brother, Johnny Gaudreau, who sadly passed away beside Matthew. Their presence showcased the importance of family support during this challenging time.

Attending the shower was Katie Gaudreau, Matthew and Johnny's sister, who was set to marry the morning after the tragic incident. Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau tragically lost their lives in a bike accident caused by a suspected drunk driver on August 29. John, an NHL player, left behind two young children. The celebration was a poignant reminder of love, legacy, and support amidst sorrow.
