Pregnant Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney's Date Night at Dodgers vs. Yankees World Series Game in L.A.
On October 25, Jennifer Lawrence and her husband Cooke Maroney, both expecting their second child, were spotted at the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Yankees World Series game, PEOPLE reported. Lawrence, 34, donned a casual outfit: a white T-shirt under a loose button-up striped shirt draping her baby bump, accompanied by black trousers and matching sunglasses. Maroney, aged 40, joined her, and both signed autographs as they mingled at the stadium, which also hosted other notable celebrities like Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and Magic Johnson. The Dodgers triumphed over the Yankees with a 6-3 win.
Lawrence's recent pregnancy announcement, confirmed by Vogue on October 20, adds to the couple’s joyous year following the birth of their first child, son Cy, in February 2022. The actress also made her first red carpet appearance post-announcement at the L.A. premiere of "Zurawski v Texas" on October 23, where she glowed in a white trench coat-style dress accentuating her baby bump.
A source expressed to PEOPLE that Lawrence is thrilled about her second pregnancy and says timing couldn’t be more perfect, given her son will soon retiree to being an older brother. The Oscar winner stated she cherishes motherhood and finds joy in watching children grow, particularly her own. Jennifer and Cooke, happily married since tying the knot in 2019 with an illustrious guest list including Amy Schumer and Cameron Diaz, are enthusiastic about expanding their family further.
Jennifer’s preparation for their new arrival also coincides with her work on the upcoming documentary "Bread & Roses," set for release on November 22. Produced alongside figures such as Justine Ciarrocchi and Malala Yousafzai, the documentary – which gained commendation at Cannes – is directed by Sahra Mani and spotlights Afghan women under prevailing Taliban threats.
