Scott Speedman and Fiancée Lindsay Rae Hofmann Welcome Second Baby, a Boy
Scott Speedman and his fiancée Lindsay Rae Hofmann have joyfully welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Indy, PEOPLE reported. On Wednesday, Sept. 25, Hofmann announced on Instagram that Indy was born earlier this month, coinciding with his due date on Sept. 2nd, weighing in at 8 lbs. Her heartfelt message expressed overwhelming love and shared black-and-white family photos featuring the new arrival.
"Our beautiful boy is here," Hofmann captioned a series of photos, showing Indy napping, being kissed by his big sister Pfeiffer Lucia, 2, and smiling moments with Speedman. "Our hearts have burst right open and we’ve fallen madly in love," she added, recalling that Indy came fast and furious the day after his father’s birthday.
The couple, who first made their relationship public in 2017 and got engaged during a nature walk in June 2023, are clearly thrilled with their growing family. Hofmann initially announced her pregnancy in March with a touching Instagram post that included a black-and-white photo displaying her baby bump, captioning it "New le bébé coming soon…".
Speedman, well known for his recurring roles on the ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy since 2018, is slated to appear in Season 21, which began on a dramatic note on Thursday, Sept. 26.
